New Enemy of the People for Pavilion

Two brothers, Thomas and Peter Stockmann, one a doctor, the other their town’s mayor, join forces to support the opening of a medicinal bath-house. At first the project seems wildly successful. Tourists, money and prestige pour in hand over fist. But then Thomas discovers the bath-house’s waters are polluted -- and the people who trusted them are falling ill. As the magnitude of the disaster is revealed, one by one the town’s people start to take sides, testing loyalties to breaking point.

The Wedding Singer Ushers in New Era for The Hills

The Hills Musical Society’s first show in its new venue, the stage musical version of The Wedding Singer, hits the stage at the Castle Hill RSL on June 13, 2013.

Breaking technology’s stranglehold on society, the production of The Wedding Singer promises to take audiences back to a time before Facebook, before the internet, before mp3s, before One Direction and Taylor Swift; back to a time when hair was big, parachute pants were cool, and CD players were only for the rich.

But What Is It Called?

Well nothing…or, to be more precise [title of show]. No, that’s not a mistake on my part…[title of show] really is the…er….title of the new show opening at my favourite theatre group Fab Nobs on Friday June 7th. Or maybe not, but you’ll be laughing and cheering so it won’t matter.
