Sydney Theatre Company Artistic Director Kip Williams today (September 30, 2021) announced the company’s plans to return to the stage with the final two productions of the 2021 season – Julius Caesar, directed by Williams and Death of a Salesman directed by STC Associate Director Paige Rattray – to open in November and December respectively.
Williams said STC was delighted to be returning to the stage to round out an incredibly tough year.

At a press launch today (September 28, 2021) for Queensland Ballet's upcoming ICONIC 2022 Season, the company's Board Chair, Julieanne Alroe, announced that Artistic Director Li Cunxin will extend his current decade-long tenure by another three years. Sydney Theatre Company (STC) and Michael Cassel Group (MCG) have today (28 September, 2021) announced a commercial ‘First Look’ agreement for all future works produced by the theatre company.
In the first agreement of its kind in Australia, STC’s productions will have the opportunity to be transferred or remounted as commercial productions to entertain audiences in new markets, with the intention of touring across Australia and internationally.
