Melville Theatre Company (WA) is bringing Terence Rattigan’s critically acclaimed play The Deep Blue Sea to Melville Civic Centre. This riveting drama will run from 19 July to 3 August 2024, offering Perth audiences a chance to experience one of the 20th century's most poignant and powerful theatrical works.

Noosa Arts Theatre Calls Out for One Act Play Entries

Noosa Arts Theatre in Queensland is calling for playwrights to submit an entry into their highly regarded and well-known One-Act Playwriting competition. Now in its 47th year, this prestigious competition attracts submissions from Australia and overseas.   It is not only the prize money which attracts, but the fact that each of the three finalist plays is performed over a two week festival by a highly regarded acting and directing fraternity.

A stalwart of Adelaide theatre, we congratulate Barry, who was honoured with the Order of Australia Medal on Australia Day, thanking him for his lengthy, passionate ‘service to the Performing Arts’. This August at The Arts Theatre, Adelaide, The Rep is presenting Nana’s Naughty Knickers by Katherine DiSavino, a comedy set in a New York City rent-controlled apartment. The play follows the escapades of Sylvia, a kindly grandmother with a top-secret hobby.

Radium Girls at Lane Cove

Lane Cove Theatre Company presents Radium Girls from August 9 to 25, 2024 at The Performance Space @ St Aidan’s in Longueville.

Directed by Kathy Petrakis, the company describes Radium Girls as an emotionally charged historical tale with implications for today’s world.
