Old Friends Sing Sondheim with comedy icon, Mark Trevorrow (aka Bob Downe), Rupert Noffs and leading music director, Bev Kennedy, is a tribute cabaret showcasing the trio's deep admiration for the late, great Stephen Sondheim’s unparalleled musical theatre songbook. Expect a night filled with stories, spontaneous humour, and a profound appreciation for Sondheim's musical and lyrical brilliance - all with a cheeky queer bent! You'll laugh. You'll cry. “We’re taking this show on the road to celebrate the incredible legacy of Stephen Sondheim, and I’m beyond excited to be working with the one and only Mark Trevorrow—who just celebrated 40 years of his iconic character, Bob Downe,” says Rupert.

“Mark is a true legend in the Aussie entertainment world, and it’s been such an honour to work with him, both as Bob and as himself. He’s paved the way for so many, and his career is a testament to the power of queer visibility and representation. Our music director, the beloved Bev Kennedy, is a genius and has helped us craft a show full of solos, duets, mashups, and medleys that really bring Sondheim’s work to life.
