New Home for Jambles Rambles Show
The third Jambles Ramble Show comes to Sydney on March 23 in its new home at the Polo Lounge of the Oxford Hotel, 134 Oxford St, Darlinghurst, the show’s home for the foreseeable future.
The show is a tonight show style pastiche, featuring guests being interviewed, singing their songs and entering into the spontaneous fun and games of a great theatrical evening.
This will be third month of the show which has already chalked up guests including Paul Capsis, Phil Scott, Michael Cormick, Bob Downe and Catherine Alcorn.
This month the show features musical theatre legend Nancye Hayes, Simon Burke, James Millar and the winner of this year’s International Cabaret Competition – Melody Beck.
The show is hosted by James Wrightwho is also currently featured in Belvoir’s production of Once in Royal David’s City and will return at the end of the month to The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me with Ben Hudson at Gingers.
New musical director Steven Kreamer, currently featured in The Drowsy Chaperone at the Hayes Theatre Company, joins the team.
The Jambles Ramble Show is a revised version of the Muftee Show, which played for two years at the Stables Theatre and in New York between 2003 and 2005.
