Mandy Patinkin Returns

Before he was an Emmy®-winning TV and film actor, Mandy Patinkin was already a Tony®-winning Broadway star. Patinkin, star of the hit television series Homeland returns to Australia in November 2018 for the first time in five years to perform in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Tickets are on sale from Friday 3 August.

Cast Announced for Cry-Baby at The Hayes

Producer LPD in association with Hayes Theatre Co has announced several of the cast members for the upcoming Australian Premiere of the rockabilly musical, Cry-Baby. Playing at Hayes Theatre Co from 20 July, Cry-Baby is based on the 1990 cult-classic John Waters film of the same name, which starred Johnny Depp.

Hayes Theatre Co has announced that the romantic comedy She Loves Me will be playing later in 2018. Chosen for the inaugural Artist Led Production Initiative, this feel-good musical comedy will play at Hayes Theatre Co from 24 August with tickets on sale now at hayestheatre.com.au.

Evita - Full Cast Announced

Opera Australia Artistic Director Lyndon Terracini, Australian theatre producer John Frostand leading UK theatre producer David Ian have announced the full cast for their upcoming production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s EVITA. The original West End and Broadway production of EVITA, directed by Hal Prince, will return to Australia from 13 September this year, playing at the Joan Sutherland Theatre at the Sydney Opera House.

Producers Luckiest Productions and One Eyed Man Productions have announced the cast for their production of Gypsy, which will run from 18 May 2018 at the Hayes Theatre Co.

Big River Next Neglected Musical

Neglected Musicals in association with Hayes Theatre Co will present Big River at Hayes Theatre Co from Wednesday 18 April, 2018, for six presentations only.  Directed by Ellen Simpson, this musical is based on Mark Twain's classic 1884 novel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, the musical features music in the bluegrass and country styles in keeping with the setting of the novel. The 1985 Broadway production ran for more than 1,000 performances and it remained one of the few very successful American musicals in the mid-1980s.
