Jemma Rix in Cabaret

The popular star of Wicked, Jemma Rix, will bring her first solo show, The Random Variety, to Melbourne’s Butterfly Club this July.

Having played Elphaba the green witch exactly 800 times throughout Australasia, Jemma is thrilled to be tackling some new repertoire before Wicked heads off to wow audiences in New Zealand.

“It’s going to be very exciting!” says Jemma. “Here’s my chance to sing a variety of my favourite songs, without the green make up!”

From Sondheim to Rihanna, Schwartz to Amy Winehouse, star of Wicked, Jemma Rix promises to take audiences on a journey down a few of her favourite musical roads.

Wicked’s Musical Director, David Young, will be joining Jemma on the piano, in this a rare opportunity to hear this amazing vocalist in the intimate setting of Melbourne’s iconic Butterfly Club.

Tickets are available at thebutterflyclub.com
The show times are Tuesday July 23-Sunday July 28, 2013 at 8pm.
(Thursday 25-Saturday 27 at 9 pm.)
