2022 Adelaide Fringe Guide Hits the Streets

Fringe goers can get their hands on the 2022 Adelaide Fringe guide and start circling their must-sees as the Fringe guide hits the streets today (Jan 12)!

Fringe is bringing the official guide closer to audiences across the state with over 150 collection points including local Foodland Supermarkets and BankSA branches.

With the official poster winner Mali Isabel’s artwork gracing the cover, the 2022 Fringe guide encourages people to explore online, using QR codes to link to more information and direct ticketing links.

The Mitchell Old Company presents HEATHERS The Musical, a high-energy immersive theatre experience based on the cult classic film of the same name that will have a limited season at ARA Darling Quarter Theatre, sydney from 8 February to 5 March 2022.  

The Who’s Tommy Premieres in February 2022

Victorian Opera is finally set to stage The Who’s Tommy from 22 February – 1 March 2022 at the Palais Theatre, St Kilda.

Victorian Opera’s CEO Elizabeth Hill-Cooper notes: “Hit rock musical The Who’s Tommy finally makes its long-awaited Australian premiere at the iconic Palais Theatre in February 2022. From what we witnessed during our original rehearsal period earlier this year, our production is going to be epic!”

Lights Dimmed for Bert Newton

Melbourne’s theatres honoured the legendary Bert Newton AM MBE on Thursday 11 November by dimming the lights of East End District theatres for one minute at 7.30pm.

His state funeral is being held at 10am on Friday 12 November and it is being broadcast on the ABC news channel.
