Frozen for Brisbane in February 2022
Disney’s Frozen will open in Brisbane in February 2022.
The new production from the producers of Aladdin, The Lion King and Mary Poppins opens at Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC, following seasons in Sydney and Melbourne.
The Australian principal cast features Queensland’s own Courtney Monsmaas Anna, Jemma Rix in the role of Elsa, Matt Lee as Olaf, Thomas McGuane as Hans, Sean Sinclair as Kristoff, Aljin Abella as Weselton and sharing the role of Sven, Jonathan MacMillan and Lochie McIntrye.
“It was a great honour for me to be in Australia late last year with our production of Frozen, to be part of Australia leading the world in theatre’s return. And, since then, we’ve watched in awe as Australians made the tough sacrifices in so many aspects of their life,” said Thomas Schumacher, President & Producer Disney Theatrical Productions.
“But Frozen is about a return from isolation and a community healing. And to now bring this show to beautiful Brisbane – which so warmly welcomed The Lion King, Mary Poppins and Aladdin - is a thrill, particularly since it’s the home state of our glorious Anna, Courtney Monsma. We are delighted to be coming back."

A waitlist to be first in line for tickets is now open at frozenthemusical.com.au. Those who sign up prior to Sunday 7th November 2021 will get priority access to tickets with pre-sales beginning at 9am on Monday 8th November 2021.
