Fishlace Jones: This is Acting

This is Acting is a new independent 5-part Comedy Web series created and shot in Melbourne. 

 

The story revolves around Australia's Best-Known Unknown Actor, Fishlace Jones, as he runs a Masterclass with 5 specially chosen actors. 

 

A documentary film crew was allowed unfettered access in the bowels of the rehearsal room to document every bizarre technique and exercise actors use to be more 'real'. There are speedhumps and challenges along the way, but just like Fishlace says "Speedhumps are for cars, we're actors."

 

The Creator of This is Acting, Charlie Ranger, has gradually built this project from the ground up following two successful seasons at The Melbourne Fringe Fest and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival (2019), progressing to take this character online.
