Ellis Productions & Aleksandar Vass are proud to present the Australian premiere of the epic adventure, Around The World In 80 Days, adapted by Toby Hulse, based on the novel by Jules Verne and directed by Terence O’Connell.

Around The World In 80 Days will commence on Tuesday 23rd August and continue through Sunday 4th September 2016 at the Alex Theatre, St Kilda.

Join fearless adventurer Phileas Fogg and his faithful manservant Passepartout as they set out to win an outrageous wager by circling the globe in an unheard-of 80 days. Danger, romance, and comic surprises abound in this whirlwind of a show as three actors portraying 39 characters traverse seven continents in one of the great adventures of all time.

The bet is on! Travel Around The World In 80 Days in this new production, which takes you from London to Bombay, Yokohama to San Francisco, through typhoons, out-of-control trains and into the deepest reaches of your imagination as it's all done with just three actors playing a multitude of roles on the stage of the Alex Theatre. Phileas Fogg says he can race from London to London in a mere 80 days, but the pressure is on and time is running out.  At his side, a band of quirky adventurers. At their heels, a relentless Scotland Yard detective. At stake, surviving utterly fantastic adventures across India, China, Japan and America - beating the clock - and winning the bet.
