Iona Presentation College’s Cinderella was one of the first big school productions of the year. A lavish show with a big budget feel, this Cinderella was a delight.

Jade Spirito in the title role, was a beautiful Cinderella with lots of personality and a gorgeous voice.

Strong, larger than life performances from Courtney Preston and Mikaela Giancaspro as nasty stepsisters Grace and Joy, showing lovely teamwork.

Adelaide Festival Centre’s Adelaide Cabaret Festival invites nominations from talented students currently in Year 10 or 11 in regional South Australia for the 2017 Nathaniel O'Brien Class of Cabaret Scholarship.

STC Launches The School Drama Book

Sydney Theatre Company (STC) launched The School Drama Book: Drama, Literature and Literacy in the Creative Classroom by Robyn Ewing and John Nicholas Saunders, on Thursday 3 November 2016.

Junior Theatre Celebration Day for Australia

The first Australian Junior Theatre Celebration will be held in Newcastle on October 20, 2016. This Broadway JuniorTM event will host national and international musical theatre celebrities and provide opportunities for young people to celebrate their love of musical theatre.

The Junior Theatre Celebration Australia 2016 is anticipated to host between eight and 16 performing arts groups from across the country. Participants will perform on stage at the Civic Theatre in this one-day celebration.
