Speed Dating: ever tried it? Well, if this show is any indication, it involves jumping through hoops for little reward.

Kiwi playwright Roger Hall has written an hilarious script unravelling the mysteries of this popular (?) pastime.

Director Helen Maden has delivered another production that is sure to bring back memories for past, present and future speed daters and it does so without the use of SPEED!

The six lovelorn love-seekers, Kat Lardner, Laney McLean and Imogen Hannah together with Clem Halpin, David Law and Chris Catherwood, set out to find a mate that will fulfil a void in their various lives. They are assisted by Shelley Jacks and Martin Jennings (while posing in a vast array of different characters) who endeavour to help them find true love and a lot of different experiences along the way. 

This show has pace, heaps of laughs and embarrassing situations and is skilfully directed by Helen who seems to identify with the whole Speed Dating Scene.

Take a Chance on Meis a glorious romp and is a “must see” for those still on the prowl!
