The Gigalees Crazy Circus Show
Gwendolen Trimboli and Tiffany Mulcahy make up comedy/circus duo ‘The Gigalees’. Fun, energetic and full of oddball humour, their alter egos Wilma and Daisy aim to please with their mix of slapstick, music and juggling. They successfully involve the young audience in their craziness with dancing, singing and balloon macramé. The young folk are encouraged to sit close to the stage as Wilma and Daisy fall over themselves literally to entertain.
Having performed together for many years their chemistry is evident; they have researched their core audience well and produced a show that is aimed at ages 0-8 years. Full of colour, acrobatics and silliness it is hard not to smile. Wilma is playful although a little daft, Daisy is the sensible one of the duo and together they try to outdo each-other with juggling and guitar playing. Although quite simplistic in direction, it is all that is needed to elicit the right response from the responsive crowd. Catchy simple tunes and dance moves are taught and have everyone up and joining in instantly.
It is important that the fringe caters for all ages and this show is perfect for toddlers and the young at heart. The silliness is infectious and will guarantee a fun afternoon out for all the family.
