Creative Juices
Creative Juices is a unique show at FringeWorld and an excellent way to finish an evening at Fringe. Playing in the Pleasure Garden, hosted by an effervescent and highly personable Timothy Ryan, this is a fabulous blend of cabaret, comedy and the wildest art class you’ve ever attended.
With a 9:20 time slot, it is the perfect choice as a Fringe dessert, and with The Lotterywest Spiegeltent having some of the best air-conditioning in Fringe, this show is cool in more ways than one.
Attendees are given a clipboard, paper and pen, and are guided through a series of exercises designed to awaken their creativity, by Tim who is supportive, funny and flamboyant - a perfect muse. There is audience participation of the best kind, with a host who is consent aware, supportive and kind - and consciously non-judgemental.
There is drawing, sharing, getting rid of inhibitions and fluoro colours under blacklight, and I feel that this show would have broad appeal. Be aware that there is some strong language and some adult concepts, but all with a positive and friendly vibe.
A great show to share with friends and family or a very different date-night, Creative Juices is life affirming, inspiring and joyous.
