Bubble Show for Adults Only 2

Eleven- thirty at night is a late show after a day of Fringe fun. However, the Bubble Show for Adults Only is well worth the wait!

The set is deceptively simple, a black stage with some silver podiums and copious mist pouring out to add to the atmosphere.

Thanks to the talents of Kurt Murray and Iulia Benze the action is non-stop, performing to a backing track of a radio program. There is an office scene, outer space, hippies and some BDSM fun and more!

They are truly the masters of their art – giant bubbles, cube bubbles, smoke bubbles, bubble towers, bubble within bubbles, giant bubbles created with bubble hoops attached to Benze’s feet and amazing fire bubbles.

Murray and Benze are to be commended for the way they keep the action moving at such a pace, even when things go wrong, which of course can happen when you are dealing with temperamental things like bubbles. They are never flustered, instead use the problems to their advantage.

They seem to be ‘at one’ with their creations, manipulating them with ease, almost as if they are their children!

The shadow puppetry section of the show tells a story of seduction where bubbles play a central role. I cannot reveal more without spoiling the fun, you will have to see it.

There is audience participation for one lucky audience member and, of course, we all share in the ‘bubble experience’ at the conclusion of the performance. It is bubble overload in the best possible way!

The Bubble Show for Adults Only 2 is sixty minutes of the most incredible bubble art you will ever see, with more than a touch of titillation!
