Breast Wishes
When I review a show, I do so, on the merits of the performance I witness and am not influenced by comments from those connected to the production.
Breast Wishes shares the trials and tribulations of the female mammary glands and of those whose lives are affected in one-way or another. Breasts conjure up a variety of thoughts (the haves and have-nots) in different people and this show explores all of those “points”.
Subtitled ‘ An Uplifting Musical’, the ensemble cast of Alice Bullock, Katie Grace, Della Kidd and Claire Thorne and solitary male Kieton Bielby take the audience on a musical journey which covers the rise and fall of breasts in a humorous fashion, especially informative for those who have not been touched by Breast Cancer.
Shows of this nature have a place in Modern Theatre even if the subject matter does not appeal to the wider audiences.
