Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show

Ditch the lawn grubs and make the most of the school holidays as Bluey's Big Play takes centre stage within the QPAC Playhouse.

Don’t be fooled thinking the show is strictly for kids, this production is perfect for all ages! With incredible life-sized puppetry, you will join Bluey, Bingo, Bandit & Chilli within the 45-minute original storyline as they try & convince Bandit to play with them.

After a sell-out season in Australia in 2020, followed by a successful North America tour, the Playhouse at QPAC is the perfect space to bring Bluey back to life in its hometown. The stage show has everything that the television series is famous for: laughter, classic Aussie parenting, realistic storylines and of course a tear shed or two.

One of the highlights of the show (among many) was the incredible reaction from the kids throughout. Each moment was carefully crafted to evoke a joyful response with the fourth wall broken many times to let the kids feel part of the action on stage. Part of this involved the puppeteers utilising the sloped stage as a slide to get into position, which is one of the small differences that really bring the fun of the show to life.
