Australian Stars Announced for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Tim Lawson in association with Michael Harrison and The Really Useful Group have announced that Euan Fistrovic Doidge will star as Joseph, and Paulini as The Narrator, in the new production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Out of the Desert

A landmark Australian production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert opens in Queensland this month. Coral Drouyn talks to the creative forces driving the new production which will preview at Star Casino, Gold Coast from 16th July and open on July 21st.

We all grow up with fairy tales but most of us think they are “uncool” at around the same time that we discover that Santa Claus is just our parents stringing us along, and that they actually bought our Christmas presents themselves!

Final Hairspray Cast Members Announced

We go to the theatre largely to be entertained, especially by musicals. Rarely does a show stay with us, in heart and mind, for weeks, months, even years after our “night out”. But occasionally a show comes along that is life-changing without us even realising it, whether we are in the audience or the cast.

The Mousetrap Set for Theatre Royal Sydney

To celebrate its Platinum (70th) jubilee this year the world’s longest-running play, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, is coming to Australia. Opening at Sydney’s Theatre Royal in October, it will be directed by Robyn Nevin and produced by John Frost for Crossroads Live Australia. This West End production is THE genre-defining murder mystery from the best-selling novelist of all time … case closed!
