Australian chamber music group, Southern Cross Soloists (SXS) have announced their 2022 Season. The SXS collective has been featuring some of Australia’s leading instrumental soloists for 27 years, 13 of those in partnership with Brisbane's Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC). The Board of Circus Oz has announced that it has taken the "devastating" decision to close the company founded more than 40 years ago because of "systematic issues holding back the company."
In statement released today the Board stated that "After surviving the pandemic challenges and recently emerging with new artform support initiatives, audience engagement programs and launching 2022 shows, the Board acknowledges this is a devasting blow to the current teams of creatives, circus artists and employees."
