Lately I’ve barely had the chance to look into the mirror, let alone cast a spell, as anyone in musical theatre land knows that Sydney has plenty of new shows coming up in 2025. I’ve been dividing my time between audition prep*, teaching, my care support work, gigs and the newest addition to my CV – officiating funerals!

Annie: Anthony Warlow to reprise Daddy Warbucks, More Cast and Melbourne Season Announced

Producer John Frost for Crossroads Live has revealed the lead cast for the upcoming new Australian production of the Broadway musical Annie, and announced a Melbourne season at the Princess Theatre from July 2025 following the Sydney season at the Capitol Theatre from March.

Pinocchio for Grown Ups

Hadestown for Melbourne

Seen by three million, and streamed by over 350 million all around the world, singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell’s West End and Broadway musical phenomenon Hadestown will premiere in Melbourne at the Her Majesty’s Theatre in May 2025.

Hadestown broke Theatre Royal Sydney box office records when it went on sale earlier this year for the Sydney season, and now Melbourne audiences have their chance.
