Simon Gallaher Remembers Debbie Reynolds

Australian entertainer Simon Gallaher has paid tribute to the late Debbie Reynolds, revealing that the Hollywood icon played an important role in developing his career.

“I thought yesterday was tragic with (the death of) Carrie (Fisher). I have known Debbie for a very long time and know she would have been feeling it very much. I thought now was not the time to call her. “

Big Fish for Hayes Theatre Co

Sydney theatre group THE GLUGS - now celebrating their 50th year – have announced nominations for the 2016 GLUGS THEATRE AWARDS. The awards ceremony will be held on Monday 6 February 2017 at The Castlereagh Hotel, 169 Castlereagh Street, Sydney.

Nominations were announced today for the Sydney Theatre Awards for 2016, which will be presented at a gala ceremony on Monday 23 January 2017 at 6pm at the York Theatre, Seymour Centre, a much larger venue than previous years due to the burgeoning popularity of the ceremony.

Broadway and West End music theatre star Sierra Boggess, will make her debut Australian tour from Saturday 3 June 2017, performing in Sydney, and Brisbane as well as Arts Centre Melbourne’s Hamer Hall.

Prinnie Stevens Joins The Bodyguard Cast

Producers John Frost, Michael Harrison and David Ian have announced that Prinnie Stevens, will be joining the cast of the international award-winning hit musical THE BODYGUARD. Prinnie will play the role of Nicki Marron, the sister of Rachel Marron, played by Paulini, in the 2017 Australian tour. Prinnie has appeared in such musicals as Rent, Thriller Live and Oh, What A Night! for which she was nominated for a Helpmann Award, and is best known to television audiences as a finalist on The Voice.
