Theatre Producer Charged

The identity of the prominent Brisbane theatre producer charged with sex offences has been confirmed as Timothy Noel O’Connor- who headed up the now collapsed Harvest Rain group of companies and training schools.

The 42-year-old is facing dozens of charges involving eight alleged victims, including rape, attempted rape, sexual assault, indecent treatment of a child, recordings in breach of privacy, fraud, common assault and indecent acts that spanned 20 years.

The alleged victims were aged between 12 and 29.

Groundhog Day for Melbourne in 2024

Groundhog Day The Musical will have its Australian premiere at the Princess Theatre, Melbourne, playing a limited season from January 24, 2024, the show's producers GWB Entertainment have announced.

The musical, based on the 1993 film, comes from the creatives behind Matilda The Musical (on stage and film), telling the story of a man trapped inside one day on repeat.

Beauty and the Beast for Brisbane and Melbourne

Brisbane and Melbourne audiences will experience the romance of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast when the much-anticipated respective seasons of the hit musical opens in Brisbane in February 2024 and Melbourne in June 2024.  The last time Beauty and the Beast played for Melbourne audiences was nearly three decades ago, when it premiered in 1995. This will be the first time the show has ever played in Brisbane!

RENT To Tour in 2024

LPD Productions has declared there is “no day like today” as it announced the multi-Tony Award winning rock musical by Jonathan Larson, RENT, will embark on a national tour in 2024. The musical will commence in Brisbane in January 2024 followed by seasons in Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth and Canberra, with tickets on sale in coming months.
