Victorian Opera has revealed a most eclectic year with its Season 2020. From Richard Strauss to The Who, Victorian Opera caters to broad musical tastes in a season featuring revered musicians including conductor Simone Young, German soprano Marlis Petersen – Berlin Philharmonic’s current Artist-in- Residence – and singer Katie Noonan.

Bell Shakespeare Season 2020

Bell Shakespeare has announced their 2020 season with a program of popular favourites to celebrate their 30th anniversary year.

In their year of celebration, Bell Shakespeare will explore two of Shakespeare’s most popular and classic plays, reimagined for 21st century audiences, Hamlet and The Comedy of Errors.

Sydney Theatre Company 2020 Season

Sydney Theatre Company Artistic Director Kip Williams has unveiled the STC 2020 season, which will consist of 12 plays performed over four venues – the Roslyn Packer Theatre in Walsh Bay, the Drama Theatre and Playhouse Theatre at the Sydney Opera House, and Riverside Theatre in Parramatta.

State Opera South Australia Season 2020

A series of operatic masterpieces, new productions and a one-night-only open-air spectacular feature in State Opera South Australia’s 2020 season, which launched today.

“The thing that thrills me the most is how this season showcases just what singers can do – captivate, move and inspire. Best of all, it’s all homegrown talent,” said State Opera’s Artistic Director Stuart Maunder.

Melbourne Theatre Company Season 2020

Melbourne Theatre Company Artistic Director & CEO Brett Sheehy has unveiled MTC’s 2020 Season.

Comedy, Cabaret and Kids at Bondi

The Bondi Theatre Company will stage the locally written comedy Bondi Legal at the Bondi Pavilion in October 2019 as part of its season of comedy, musical cabaret and children’s theatre.

The comedy – celebrating its 10th anniversary – is inspired by  a case the playwright Tony Laumberg took on when he was a young solicitor.
