Streaming Hamilton
A picture and video preview of Hamilton which premieres on July 3, 2020 around the world, streaming on Disney+.
The company, which paid a rumoured $75 million for the world-wide streaming rights, is billing the release as “an unforgettable cinematic stage performance that combines the best elements of live theatre, film and streaming.”
The musical with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda features a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway. It is inspired by the book on American founding father “Alexander Hamilton” by Ron Chernow.
Filmed at The Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in June of 2016, The 11-time-Tony Award®-, GRAMMY Award®-, Olivier Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning stage musical stars:
