Wyong Juniors in Disney’s High School Musical

Wyong Musical Theatre Company’s Juniors (NSW Central Coast) are presenting Disney’s High School Musical On Stage at the Wyong Memorial Hall from September 23 to October 1, 2011.

Produced by Wyong Musical Theatre Company, High School Musical On Stage features all the characters and chart-topping songs from the smash-hit movie.

For the uninitiated, High School Musical is the story of basketball captain Troy and the brainy but shy Gabriella who discover that they have a common passion for singing.

The pair defy the accepted distinctions and try out for the school musical despite opposition from their peers, who are determined to keep them apart both on and off the stage. They persist, and incidentally inspire their family and friends to expose their own secret talents and dreams.

It is an infectious celebration of individualism and community - you don’t have to change to be accepted, you just have to be yourself.

High School Musical on Stage features all the characters and songs from the popular Disney movie.

The production features a cast of 12 to 20 year olds.
