Fab Nobs Theatre Celebrates 10 years!
Could there be a more fitting way to celebrate 10 years, than with a retrospective concert with songs taken from the last 10 Years? Could this be your chance for some “Therapy” or perhaps you’re still wondering about… The Kid Inside … And do you remember that It Sucks To Be You?
Fab Nobs (Bayswater, Vic.) invites you to Return to the Forbidden Planet and share the journey the company has taken over this exciting 10 years!
Fab Nobs Theatre is celebrating 10 years of musicals and plays this Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of August 2012, at 8pm.
Incorporated in 2002, Fab Nobs Theatre is now a well-established, highly regarded name in the non-professional theatre world; having been recognised over the years for producing outstanding small-cast productions of off-Broadway style shows.
From a very meagre start around a dining table, with no assets and no financial backing, Fab Nobs Theatre has gone from a factory in Bayswater… to the current factory in Bayswater (just down the road).
Over the past 10 years, Fab Nobs have been blessed with a group of passionate committee members and supporters who have enabled the company to grow from strength to strength. The aim of Fab Nobs has always been to produce excellent shows whilst still upholding the joy of theatre.
This weekend, Fab Nobs will be bringing together over 30 of their past cast members for an all-singing, all-dancing celebration of everything Fab Nobs!
“We have been overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm from so many Fabnobians for this concert celebration,” says Leane Gooding (Fab Nobs President). “It’s wonderful to bring so many people together to share in the memories and the story of Fab Nobs”.
The Fabiversary will be showcasing music and songs from all the musicals over the last 10 years. So, make the trek out to Bayswater. There are some seriously talented people involved in the production of this Fabiversary, and this is possibly the only time you will see them all on stage together.
