Disney's Mulan Jr for Phoenix Theatre

Phoenix Theatre (WA) will host the beloved Disney classic Mulan Jr at Hamilton Hill Memorial Hall in March 2018.  Defying the village matchmaker, Mulan takes up arms and disguises as a boy in order to spare her father from having to serve in the army. The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous sidekick Mushu to save the Emperor!

Jeeves & Wooster at Hunters Hill

Pymble Players’ first productions for 2018 is The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead, opening on February 14th .

This Australian comedy by Robert Hewett, tells the story of Rhonda, an ordinary suburban housewife, whose husband of 17 years suddenly leaves her. At a loss to understand his actions, and emboldened by her best friend Lynnette, redheaded Rhonda lashes out and loses control. The consequences of her actions play out across time and through a group of people brought together by that one ill-fated moment. 

Fiddler on the Roof at Rockdale

One of the world’s most loved, record-breaking Broadway shows returns to Sydney’s south in March when Rockdale Musical Society presents Fiddler on the Roof, starring award-winning Adam Scicluna as Tevye.

Crossing Delancey at Heidelberg

Heidelberg Theatre Company’s first play for 2018 is Crossing Delancey by Susan Sandler, directed by Llaaneath Poor.  Llaaneath has been a member of Heidelberg Theatre Company virtually since birth, and she is now following in the footsteps of her parents, Gayle and Mick Poor, becoming a second-generation director. During her time at Heidelberg she has worked on numerous productions either as an actor, crew member or Assistant Director, but this will be her first time flying solo as a director for Heidelberg.

Four Flat Whites at Castle Hill

Castle Hill Players gets their 2018 Season underway with Roger Hall’s hugely successful comedy, Four Flat Whites in Italy, opening at The Pavilion Theatre on Friday 2 February and continuing until Saturday 24 February.
