The Boy from Oz at PLOS

PLOS Musical Productions has announced details of the cast and creative team for its January 2023 season of the all Australian musical The Boy from Oz.

The Boy from Oz will open at the Frankston Arts Centre on New Year’s Eve 31 December for a limited season.

Drew Downing will star as Peter Allen, while twelve-year-old Isaac Russo will join the cast in the role of Young Peter Allen.  

The Boy from Oz includes many of Peter Allen’s best loved songs: “Quiet Please, There’s a Lady on Stage”, "Everything Old is New Again", "Tenterfield Saddler", "I Honestly Love You", "I Still Call Australia Home", "Don’t Cry Out Loud" and the show stopping "I Go To Rio". 

The Boy from Oz follows PLOS’ well received production of Chicago that saw the company returning to the stage after two and a half years away from the theatre.
