For nearly a decade, Transtage has been selling portable seating and stages for schools, churches and theatres.

The Sydney company, which delivers Australia wide, says purchasing the stages is more cost effective than renting, if you have a few repeat uses.

The company says the modular stages can be put together in about an hour and easily deconstructed into flat packs for ease of storage.

The stages have a load capacity of 750 kilograms per square metre, and can be set outdoors or on uneven terrain.

Different uses for the stages include choir risers, seat risers, catwalks and regular platforms for speeches, music and dance.
