Cast Announced for Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown

Step into the vibrant, hilarious world of 1980s Madrid where Pepa, a heartbroken actress, finds her life spiralling out of control after her lover’s sudden disappearance. As she searches for answers, Pepa navigates a series of increasingly outrageous events alongside a cast of eccentric characters, including a vengeful ex-wife, a best friend entangled with an international terrorist, a power-suited lawyer, and enough sedative-laced gazpacho to knock out half of Spain.

Adelaide Fringe Kids Show a Sensory Playground for Neurodiverse Audiences

Premiering at Adelaide Fringe 2025, Press Play is an autistic led, sensory friendly interactive live music concert for kids aged 0-7 years. Featuring all original music, this brand new show is designed to offer “a sensory playground for kids of all abilities”, says the show’s creator Adelaide musician and Music Therapist, Alice Orchard.

Avenue Q

Melbourne based theatre company AG Theatre Productions is kicking off its 2025 season from February 22nd with the laugh-out-loud Broadway hit Avenue Q. The irreverent R rated musical theatre show tackles all kinds of taboo issues including racism, unemployment, homosexuality, love, and porn with its raucous Sesame Street-like puppets. This ‘anti-musical’ tells the story of a recent college grad named Princeton, who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q.

The Matilda Awards, Queensland’s celebration of performing arts excellence, returns to Brisbane Powerhouse on Monday 24 February 2025 for its 37th year.

The Awards spotlight nominees across a list of 20 categories in live theatre and this year marks the debut of a new partnership with the Actors’ & Entertainers’ Benevolent Fund (ABF Qld).

Due to overwhelming demand, after a regional tour in 2025 The End of the Wharf As We Know It!!! will return to Sydney in April for five final performances. How could the last, final ever performances of The Wharf Revue happen anywhere but Sydney!

The End of the Wharf As We Know It!!! runs at the Seymour Centre until 23 December, then tours regional NSW, Brisbane and Melbourne, before returning to the Seymour Centre for the final shows.
