Footloose - Rosewood State High School

Rosewood State High School has built up a strong reputation when it comes to the performing arts but all expectations were surpassed with this year’s musical Footloose. With over 60 student cast, crew and band members and a very dedicated team of staff, the very colourful 80’s were back for three sold out shows.
The success of the show was a culmination of many factors. While the script was fun and witty, there were some real tension-driven moments where students were able to showcase depth in their acting abilities. The score kept the audience singing along with some classic 80’s tunes including Holding Out For A Hero, Hear It For The Boy and of course Footloose.
The school musical is always a big event for Rosewood High and the local Rosewood community. The feel good memories students gained from this event will stay with them for many years to come!
