Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Tim Rice. Neptune Productions, Tweed Heads Civic Centre. Director/Musical Director: Wendy Fahey May 8th - May 17th, 2015

After a 12 month hiatus Neptune Productions have staged 'Joseph' with style. Casey Fegan repeats his performance of several years ago and is complemented by the talented Louise Harris as the Narrator. Strong performances also came from Jackson Brash as Pharaoh and Samantha Naday as Mrs Potiphar.

Lloyd Webber’s tuneful score was presented by the enthusiastic children’s choir and the pit orchestra supporting the adult members of the cast.

Neptune prides itself on being a “family” company and this was evident from the performers’ names listed in the programme.

Choreography was by local award winning teenager, Courtney Monsma, in her first time in this creative role. She tailored the movement to suit the capabilities of the large cast.

A new addition to the company was triple threat Jordan Foster, who showed real potential and is a star in the making.

Neptune has the nack of knowing just what their audiences want and once again, got the mix right!

Another enjoyable night at the theatre.
