Tosca - Opera Australia

John Bell’s production of Tosca for Opera Australia returns to the Joan Sutherland Theatre, Sydney Opera House from February 17 to March 31, 2017.

In the title role of Tosca, Spanish soprano Ainhoa Arteta is making her long awaited Australian debut after having sung in all the famous opera houses and concert halls around the world, as well as the White House!

Arteta will be joined by celebrated Romanian tenor Teodor Ilincai who takes on the role of Cavarodossi while Italian Lucio Gallo, possibly the most celebrated and exciting baritone in the world today, will play the much maligned Scapia.
